We're turning the big 4-0 and what better place to celebrate than the adventure capital of New Zealand? We're inviting our favourite people to join us in Queenstown for a few days of wine, wonder, and unforgettable memories.
Saturday lunch at SODA is the main event and we want you there! But if you can swing a few extra days, stick around for wine tours, e-bikes, skiing and more. The more the merrier.
Beat the jet lag and ease into holiday mode
Arriving early to beat the jet lag and prepare for the fun? Join Flames at the Chateau for a casual dinner. Fergburger overlooking Lake Wakatipu and vino flowing.
No pressure, just good vibes as we kick things off.
Get active, then get sipping
Up early and keen for some heart-pumping fun? Join Flicky (James TBC) for a fast-paced walk (bordering on jog) up Queenstown Hill. Guaranteed nature and view delight with stunning panoramas of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu.
The feature activity for the day! Jump in a private van as we explore 3-4 of Central Otago's finest wineries. World-renowned Pinot Noir awaits.
Kids welcome. We suggest meeting us at each location rather than sitting in an adult wine-fuelled bus all day.
Another relaxed evening together. We'll be enjoying the culinary delights of [insert restaurant location here - we can't decide everything right now] which has amazing food, fermented beverages and wine.
One of our absolute favourites
One of our most favourite things to do in Queenie! We'll depart Queenstown at 10:30AM and head up the Frankton trail. In convoy on e-bikes, we'll hug the lake, bound over the Shotover River and stop in at Amisfield around midday for a paddle of Pinot and to lap in the hype of the "best vineyard in Queenstown".
From there we'll head to Ayrburn (ETA 1:30PM) for a bite, then punch it to Canyon Brewing for afternoon vibes.
Bikes back by 5:00PM.
From Around The Basin. Totally achievable on e-bikes, but you know your body. Alternatives available to meet us along the way!
Dinner at [insert cool location here - it'll be cool trust us], then head on to sports bar [name of sports bar here] for the main event. It's AFL Final day! Whether you're a diehard fan or just keen to watch men in short shorts, join us for an evening of footy, food, and festivities.

Tiny little silver sleighs on 4 wheels going down tiny channels. For the lazy, catch the gondola up. For the keen, a short hike up a steep ascent! Get up early. Lunch is coming!

The showpiece of the celebration! Flames are looking forward to hosting you at SODA, right in the heart of Queenstown on the lake. With a menu of deliciousness and bubbles and beers galore, we encourage you to lean in and help us celebrate our beautiful life!
Recovery mode: activated
For the morning, you do you! Sleep in, nurse that hangover, grab a coffee...
Then at 1PM, choop choop! It's time for one of the most unique experiences in Queenstown. The TSS Earnslaw is a 45-minute trip in the last working steamboat in the southern hemisphere across Lake Wakatipu to a luscious colonial homestead at Walter Peak. Crystal clear blue water, steam, sheep dogs, steamy convo, boat, nautical terms, bowline knots, steam.
What better way to see off a potential hangover than with a full-on sausage fest (meat buffet)? And it is delicious! Spend a couple of hours eating as much as you can, then head back for an afternoon of board games and chill vibes.
One more adventure for the road
Grab a Ferg Bakery treat and let's get rumbling up to the ski fields! Cardrona was in peak form in 2025 and we've got high hopes for 2026.
The snow isn't for everyone, so if you're not keen, totally fine.
